God has blessed the church in Panama. Each year through the mission trip many convert.
Through the year souls are fed and guided and more convert, through Rubén León.

Rubén moved to Higueronal from Peru with his family of five on faith. He arrived only with
what the airline baggage restrictions allowed. He believed that God would work in Higueronal
and that God would work through him.

Since the Higueronal congregation began in 2007, there have been approximately 220 baptisms.

The church impacts the community. In March 2010, God arranged through Rubén and several
Panama officials a group wedding of 50 couples. These couples of all age groups decided
obedience to God against the Panama rural culture norm of common law marriage. There was great rejoicing in Higueronal!
