Mission Health | Neurology
Mission Neurology provides both inpatient and outpatient neurology services, offering a wide spectrum of care to western North Carolina.
The inpatient neurology program is comprised of a 12-bed neuro-ICU and a 36-bed, dedicated Neuroscience unit and Stroke Center. Mission is certified by The Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our team is made up of neuro hospitalists and neurovascular hospitalists, technicians, nurse practitioners and hospital nurses.
We have a team of dedicated, full time neurohospitalists who care for patients admitted to Mission Hospital with acute neurological problems and who work in collaboration with a team of outpatient neurologists committed to providing ongoing neurological care in the office setting. While admitted to the hospital you will be cared for by one of our neurohospitalists and when you transition to outpatient followup care, you will be assigned to one of our outpatient providers.
